Shell V-Power Demonstrators

Mastermodels recently completed a series of demonstration models for Shell Research. The models were used to demonstrate the application of their V-Power fuels on an engine.

A scale model of an injector head, 500x bigger than the original, was made to demonstrate the cleaning properties of the fuel on a car’s fuel injectors. Another model was made to demonstrate the fuels ability to reduce carbon build up on engine components such as valves that would otherwise reduce efficiency. The “carbon deposits” are magnetic and can be removed with the magnetic detergent wand to illustrate the cleaning action of the fuel.

The models have been made in various sizes for portability and have their own custom cases.
